If you have followed me for any length of time you are getting used to some of my favorite giving maxims.  Maxims are short statements of truth.  One that I often use is this, if you always do what you have always done you will not get what you always got.  I am not sure how proper grammatically that is but you get my point.  Sadly most churches today are experiencing declines in giving because they keep doing what they have always done in the past.  Then they wonder what the problem is.
