Get an end of year giving plan!

If you are behind budget you need to know how to make up a week’s offering the last week of the year.  Amazingly 25% of what a non-profit charity brings in comes between Thanksgiving and the end of the year.  Could you church leverage these lasts few days to close out any budget deficit?  YES!  Read on…

My client use the end of year as a means to garner additional funds by following my plan of action.  I put together simple plans that if followed could bring in enough extra end of year giving to make up for one offering.  I do all the work for my clients but I will share with you here how it is done.  Here in a nutshell is the plan.

First, make every offering this Christmas season meaningful.  Set the offering up by telling people how a gift to your church helps change the world for good.  People don’t give to help you make budget they give to help you make a difference.  We call this connecting the dots.  Showing how a dollar given to your church builds the Kingdom will get you more dollars than simply focusing on your budget.  My members get weekly Christmas offering talks written for them.  Try my plan for $1 for 14 days!  $1 for 14 Day Trail offer

Next remind members of how gifts are tax deductible.  We live in a great country where what you give to your church is an allowable tax deductions.  So through all your print materials and every other means by which you communicate, remind your members that giving helps them get a tax refund.  Announcements and reminders about tax deductions are positive non-threatening reminders about giving.  My members have this done for them!  Try it for 14 days!

Finally, use direct email blasts the last two weeks of the year to garner additional funds.  My members get a series of 4 emails written for them that they can use to gain additional funds.  The final one sent out the afternoon of the last day often brings in thousands of dollars in just a few hours.  One of my clients brought in over $15K with one last email of the year!  Many others have brought in enough just in the last day to make up for essentially one lost offering.  I can help you do the same!

If you don’t have a plan you will not raise additional funds.  The churches that will be fully funded in 2016 and 2017 are the ones that have a plan and work their plan.  Stop vacillating and start acting NOW to close your giving gap.  There is still time to get me into the game for you.  Take the challenge now by going to this link, 14 day trail

Let’s end your 2016 on a giving high note!
